Opaque Flamingo (Open)

Next, it was time to do the same painting in Open. Yet again I transferred the drawing and put out white. I painted as above. Initially the Open glided onto the paper easier than the Interactive, but once on the surface, the rough texture of the paper kept it from being able to be pushed around like it did on the canvas board and so, even though it remained wet, it wasn't really reworkable. I mostly just worked in layers. I was able to match the color brightness better this time, but I still couldn't achieve the subtleties with the highlights. Otherwise the paintings look pretty close.
